About Tadamigawa, 只見川について

Tadamigawa is a name of river. "Tadami" is an actual name of river and "gawa" means river.

Tadamigawa, Tadami river, is one of Japan's first-class rivers running through Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture. Tadamigawa is the longest branch of Aganogawa.

The source of Tadamigawa is a marsh, called Ozenuma, which is between Gumma and Fukushima Prefecture.

Inagawa which is also famous in Suiseki, is joined and finally it flows to Aganogawa. The length of Tadamigawa is 145.2 km.

The Tadamigawa is running through mountain range and has big mood swings. Further the valley is an area of heavy snowfall and it is swollen with a volume of water.

About Inagawa, 伊南川について

Inagawa is a name of river. "Ina" is an actual name of river and "gawa" means river. Inagawa is the longest branch of Tadamigawa.

Inagawa, Tadamigawa and Aganogawa are famous in Suiseki.

It is difficult to distinguish between Tadamigawa-ishi and Inagawa-ishi because Tagamigawa and Inagawa are connected.
